130. ZAKATH - A COMPULSORY OBLIGATION
The alms which have been mentioned in the verse 9:60, specify Zakath which is compulsory obligation. Because in the end portion of this verse, it has been said as “…. A duty imposed by Allah.”
Alms other than Zakath can be utilized for any other welfare activities except those eight modes suggested for Zakath only.
