144. THE WOMB WHICH ACCEPTS FOREIGN MATERIAL.

The Quranic verse 13:8 is a verse which has revealed a great scientific truth.

Usually, human body has got some unique features. One such feature is that it would not accept any foreign body. For example, we can consider the human eyes. If some dust fell into the eyes, it would try to eliminate the same at all cost.

The wombs of women are also like that. But the womb accepts a foreign body (i.e., the sperm of a male) into itself. It grows the foetus for several months and suddenly attempts to expel it after the completion of growth. The womb contracts and expands and due to this only labour pain is caused. This verse says only this.

The phrase "and everything with him is measured…” should be deeply regarded.

Nobody has so far found the reason why the womb expels when a particular time occurred.

Nobody has so far found the reply for the question how the womb had accepted the foreign body (i.e., sperm of male).

This phrase interprets that Allah appoints a particular time by his might contradicting the nature (i.e., non-acceptance of foreign body) and according to that appointed time by Allah the womb bears the foreign body for a long time.
