145. A LEADER WHOM NOBODY COULD KILL

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had many enemies since he had boldly objected all the evils that were present therein the community during his life time. His enemies had been attempting in many ways to kill him at all costs.

He was not hiding himself in forts and castles. He lived in huts. There was no watchman; he was freely roaming in the streets; he did not make any attempt to save his life; he never compromised any of his principles;

He took part in the battles offering himself the opportunity to the enemies to kill him. Even then nobody could kill him.

The prediction that “Allah will protect him from mankind” had been accomplished (Quran 5:67).

If the enemies had killed him at least for the sake of overcoming this challenge, they would have proved that it is a false religion; but that was not possible. If it had not been the words of Allah and if it had not been a warrant of Allah he (Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ) would have been killed long ago. ‘That Quran is the Book of Allah', is clearly proved by the fact that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not killed by anybody.

No one could roam freely in this world announcing that “nobody can kill me”; that too if a person who fights against evil forces announced like this, his life would have come to an end the next day itself.

In those days i.e., during the life time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), anybody could easily kill such a person who would freely mix with people just as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Nevertheless, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) proved that what he uttered was Allah’s message, by announcing that nobody could kill him.
