224. Family of Ibrahim (pbuh) who were blessed.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has taught that we should invoke Allah to bless us just as He blessed Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) only on the basis of this verse 11:73, which states that Allah blessed the family of Ibrahim (pbuh). That is what Muslims have been reciting during prayers. We can find that certain phrases which are found in this verse are found in what Muslims recite while they invoke Allah during prayers.
