55. WHICH ARE THE SACRED MONTHS
It has been said in Quran (9:36) that there should be no battles during the sacred months. There are four such sacred months. It has never been said in
Quran does not mention the names of those four months. It has been said in Hadiths only that ''Dhulqhaida, Dulhaj, 'MuHaram', and 'Rajab' are those four sacred months.
Hence we can realize that Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) elucidation is essential for understanding Quran.
(Quran 2:194, 2:217, 5:2, 5:97, 9:5, 9:36).
